Dogmonic chapter 2

Second chapter is finally here with only one more chapter to go before the end of the game.

Ok time for some inside baseball

As most of you know, I had some computer problems about a month ago and you will be right on the noise if you were to guest that the reason for why Dogmonic is ending so abruptly.

Originally the game was supposed to be 4-5 chapters, In fact the only reason for that was because I wasn't sure how to handle the ending. The goal was always keep the game short with destination in mind. With me using the budget I had at the time to get things as I needed in case of an emergency. Which did happen and left me with little to money to get additional assets. So it was either cut my losses and end the game sooner or try to scrap by and risk doing delays because I could get what I needed for the scene. I’m choosing the former.

I do have other projects in pre production. In fact the whole reason for why Dogmonic was first is because it was mystery soup game so much so that the dog was originally millennial dog *shutters*. While Dogmonic might be ending, It is not the end of the universe.  I will be pulling character and setting for all future projects. That said, I do have the intention of keeping the game short-ish between 5-13 entries per game with some exception here and there.

So What is going to be the next game? I’m going to leave that up to you guys. Right now there are two choice that are ready to be worked on

Succession Crisis: MC is active military return home on leave only to find his father and that he is loaded. He was born and raised without his dad because the MC grandmother didn’t approve of his mom and blah blah blah. Except they are all worshippers of Alabaster family which in turn gives them powers and because MC is the only true child of the current head of the family is the rightful heir. The usurpers are in for a treat.

Housing association: If you don’t like any combination of NTR and interracial, this is not for you.  The MC moves to a new town and is given a nice place to live in a nice neighborhood. Everything seems fine, till you meet the HOA President and she doesn't like you. Fortunately all the other neighbors seem… friendly.

There is a third game but that is going to have more of it done when it is done kind of situations. So don’t be surprised when that pops up out of nowhere.
